Christmas In Connecticut
Candlelight kisses and crisp cold air
Ice skates are hung by the terrace stair
The snow is piling up out there
Wintertime is here
Christmas in Connecticut draws near
Shiny new paper and bright red bows
Tinkling bells and the fire’s glow
Apple spices, eggnog smiles
Love is flowing free
Christmas in Connecticut and me
Seasons will change, they must I know
Winter gives way to melting snow
The sunlight smiles, a cheery glow
Next year it will be
Christmas in Connecticut and me…
